You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to know that space is the place, but you’ll need to be one if you want to go there. We’ve been looking to the stars since the dawn of time, and space exploration has dominated pop culture and so much of what we do here on Earth for decades. Getting to space takes years of gathering data, careful engineering, meticulous planning, and lots of trial and error, some of which has, unfortunately, come at the cost of human life.
